Pamela Ribon’s newest novel (Going in Circles) tells the story of a heartbroken newlywed finding salvation through roller derby. In addition to writing stories for your bookshelves (Why Girls Are Weird, Why Moms Are Weird) and stories for your television (Samantha Who?, Romantically Challenged), Ribon’s stage productions have become international cult sensations (Call Us Crazy: The Anne Heche Monologues), she’s been a featured performer at the US Comedy Arts Festival, and is a recent contributor to Oprah.com. On the Internet she’s known as “Pamie,” where she’s been running her wildly successful website pamie.com for over ten years. She was a flagship contributor to TelevisionWithoutPity.com and was a weekly columnist for the Austin American-Statesman. As a member of the LA Derby Dolls she’s known as May Q. Holla, where she’s markedly less successful, but probably just as hilarious.
