A presentation by Dr. Jonathan Pevsner, a Kennedy Krieger Institute research scientist with a 30-year obsession with da Vinci.

Dr. Jonathan Pevsner is a professor at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. His lab studies the molecular basis of childhood and adult brain disorders and reported the cause of a rare disease (Sturge-Weber syndrome). Jonathan has authored a textbook on genomics. He has a long-standing interest in Leonardo da Vinci, including a collection of 700 books, and lectures extensively on him. Jonathan has published articles on Leonardo’s studies of the brain, and he has been featured as a Leonardo expert on the History Channel and the Discovery Channel. The topic of his presentation is Leonardo’s integration of art, science, and engineering.
