Community Game and Puzzle Swap

Posted on Monday, August 31, 2020 by Melissa Howison

Fight game-night fatigue! Swap out those same-old games and puzzles you’ve been playing for the past few months.

The Community Swap is an easy, budget-friendly, and naturally sustainable way to get your hands on some new-to-you games and puzzles. For this swap, you can donate without shopping, shop without donating, or—to have the greatest impact—do both! Masks required at all times.

Sort through your shelves at home for board games, video games, and puzzles in good condition that you no longer want (accepting games and puzzles for children of all ages and adults). Drop your items off at the Village Learning Place Library, 2521 St. Paul Street, during any of the following times:

  1. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 5:00-6:00pm
  1. Thursday, Sept. 17 and Friday, Sept. 18, 11:00am-1:00pm
  1. Saturday, Sept. 19, 10:00am-Noon

All games will be quarantined for 3 days to kill germs. Schedule your shopping appointment at to ensure customer distancing (slots available from 9:00am-4:00pm on Friday, Sept. 25 and Saturday, Sept. 26). At the time of your appointment, come to the Village Learning Place library to browse and purchase games and puzzles for $20/bag. We encourage you to bring your own tote! Proceeds will benefit the VLP.
