LINK Leaders School Year

LINK (Let’s Invest in Neighborhood Kids) is an initiative offering programs and services to strengthen our entire community.

LINK Leaders School Year is a new after school program that will serve 7th to 10th grade students three days per week. Beginning February 4, 2019, LINK Leaders will meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2:30-5:30pm. An after-school snack will be served, and dinner will be served at 5:00pm. LINK Leaders School Year aims to prepare adolescent students for higher education, technical training programs, and/or the workforce by providing them access to dynamic learning and networking opportunities.

The LINK Leaders School Year program focuses on character-building and leadership training through experiential education, workshops, and partnerships with community leaders. Community service will be emphasized within the college and career-readiness curriculum.
