Village Vanguard

The Village Vanguard is a select group of loyal and committed individuals who share a vision for the Village Learning Place as a lifeline for the community. Through their financial stewardship of this independent library and learning center, Village Vanguard members ensure the Village Learning Place’s capacity to provide access to information, resources, and educational programs for all ages. 

Join the Village Vanguard at any one of our supporting levels: 

Nextdoor Neighbor $1,000

  • Acknowledgment in annual report and on website.
  • Personal invitation to an annual Village Vanguard reception.

Community Connector $2,500

  • All Nextdoor Neighbor benefits.
  • Invitation to a quarterly ‘VLP Community Conversation’ featuring local educators, artists, and scholars.

Local Leader $5,000

  • All Community Connector benefits.
  • Personal, mission-impact tour of VLP programs.

Charles Village Champion $10,000

  • All Local Leader Benefits.
  • Recognition at VLP events.
  • Use of VLP for your own event (up to 4 hours)* subject to availability.
  • Opportunity to host a ‘VLP Community Conversation’. 

Village Visionary $20,000

  • All Charles Village Champion benefits.
  • Opportunity to participate in a strategic conversation with VLP leadership around board’s vision and program direction.
