The Grace Darin Lecture Series celebrates the life and work of Grace Darin, a great journalist and Charles Villager.

The Grace Darin Lecture is an annual event celebrating the life and work of Grace Darin, one of Baltimore’s great journalists and a Charles Village activist. Previous speakers have included Laura Lippman, Dan Rodricks, Marc Steiner, Gilbert Sandler, and Jacques Kelly. The Grace Darin Memorial Fund supports the VLP’s collection of periodicals and newspapers, honoring Ms. Darin’s commitment to journalism and access to information for all. This event is held each year in the late spring.
