Baltimore History Evenings, presented in partnership with the Baltimore City Historical Society, is a monthly series of presentations and discussions on Baltimore which runs every 3rd Thursday from January to June.

Read Between the Wines

Read Between the Wines is the Village Learning Place's extraordinary annual fundraising event. Held each April in our beautifully renovated historic library and garden, this gala event brings together great food, live music, silent and live auctions, and a fantastic atmosphere of community.

Schools Out Camp & After Care

Schools Out Fun Days are designed to be safe and creative play days. The Village Learning Place offers Schools Out Fun Days to provide a childcare option for families on Baltimore City Public School PD and ½ days. After Care is also offered in fall and spring on school days when LINK is not in session. Students should pack a lunch. Registration is required.

Senior Tea

Senior Tea is a free monthly lecture series and social tea especially for seniors held on the second Thursday of each month at 11:00 am.

Spaghetti Disco

Spaghetti Disco is our favorite wacky neighborhood tradition and benefits the VLP. This amazing party brings together delicious food, kids’ crafts and games, and great neighbors on a sizzling dance floor.

Spooky Harvest is an annual Halloween celebration of costumes, games, food, and fun!

Tots Tuesday Storytime

Tots Tuesday Storytime is an interactive storytime for toddlers and their parents/caregivers. We meet every Tuesday of the month from 10:30-11:15am.
